“By the time I was walking and in a wheelbarrow, at the age of 4 I was introduced to the gardening world. My first job was at the neighbours - quarter of an acre land.”
‘If it wasn’t for Dad, I wouldn’t be the gardener that I am. I was always out with him for as long as I can remember. He used to take me outdoors even in cold weather and we would always have a big bonfire.”
Joseph, at what age did you start gardening?

When did your passion for gardening arise?
“At Dad’s I had the freedom to play, I was always creating pathways, dens and always making holes that contained water. I always liked making things pretty. There was a big open space with a large bush where I used to always landscape.”
What is the one thing you love the most about gardening?

“Being outdoors, surrounded by nature and wildlife as well as creating freedom.”

How does it feel to know that customers enjoy your creations?
“I feel satisfied and accomplished, and like all the hard work is worth it.”
How many years of gardening experience do you have?
“Next year I will officially be 30 years self employed.”
